Voices in the Laurel will host its annual Summer Singing Academy July 15 - 19 for singers who will start Kindergarten up through 9th grade, at First Baptist Church. Inspired by the recent movie, Wonka, participants will sing the song Pure Imagination as well as other songs, and earn “golden tickets” in music activities to later exchange for prizes. While most activities focus on singing, music reading, and healthy singing technique, there will be professional instructors in dance and drumming.
